We would like to share our experience in working with Timothy (Tim) K. Rodee, CPA of Padgett Business Advisors Syracuse.We had the opportunity of purchasing a Mexican Restaurant located in South Jordan, Utah. We had never gone through the processes of purchasing a small business. This included; analyzing the value and payback of the business, working with Small Business Loan (SBA) and the lending institution, interaction with our legal entity, closing the deal, and overcoming all the obstacles along the way.
Tim impressed us from the moment we met him. He took an interest in our project from the very beginning and interacted more like a business partner than a hired CPA. Tim quickly put together a thorough analysis to see if the whole purchase made sense. Even as the purchase details changed and the numbers changed, he would respond quickly to let us know if the deal still made sense.
Tim always responds promptly to any issues that arise and to our phone calls. He has exceeded our expectations in all the work he has performed for us.

I have used Jean Hellyer as my accountant for about 5 years. She also does the payroll, and I can’t say thank you enough!!! If there were a 5-star scale to rate her on, she would easily be 5 stars! I own an Insurance Agency and am dealing with a lot of clients and paperwork daily. I do not have time to spend with all the accounting/payroll staff. Jean makes my life so easy in that arena, and I would highly recommend her to anyone! She picks up and drops off all my statements/paperwork each month here in my office.
